“Attended the 5 days of turning class and I learned so much, it was an amazing class and Simon Begg is a great teacher. David has done so much to make sure that the classes are well run, from the simple things of proving a nice lunch each day to the more complex things of ensuing that the lathe is set at the right height for me (I’m a little tall) and all the tools are well set out and there is an amazing selection of wood available to turn. I was so impressed and loved all the pieces that I was able to turn. I can’t believe what I was able to get done in the 5 days - it exceeded all my expectations.”

“I attended the sharpening course held over the weekend and we were really well looked after all weekend and I gained some life long skills and a new attitude towards keeping all my tools sharp. We covered plane blades, chisels, kitchen knives, wood turning tools eg, skews, gouges, parting tools and a few more that i probably forgot to mention. We even covered how to look after planes and basic restoration tips for old tools. I loved every minute of the course and i can't recommend the course highly enough and even escaped with no band aids from the newly sharpened tools. :)”
