Welcome to “Woodworking Machinery Proficiency: Module 1”, where your woodworking journey transitions from good to great! Designed for those with a spark for woodworking, this course is your gateway to mastering the art of stationary woodworking machinery. Immerse yourself in eight captivating 3-hour sessions, where the jointer/planer, table saw, thicknesser, router table, and bandsaw aren’t just tools, but gateways to endless creativity.

Step into our state-of-the-art workshop, where cutting-edge machinery meets the warmth of wood. Our space buzzes with dual table saws, jointers, thicknessers, four router tables, and five bandsaws. It’s a setup that not only inspires but ensures everyone gets hands-on time without a wait. With intimate class sizes of just six, we promise you personalized attention and guidance from our two dedicated instructors. It’s a space where skills flourish, confidence blooms, and woodworking camaraderie thrives.

Course Objectives:

2. Jointer/Planer Mastery: Dive deep into the heart of dimensioning and surfacing wood, turning rough timber into pieces that tell stories.

Course Experience:

WHAT TO BRINg

Your safety is paramount. While we provide personal protective equipment (PPE), students may choose to bring their own face mask, safety glasses or goggles, and earmuffs or earplugs.

Footwear should be closed-toed. Don’t fret if you don’t have tools; we’ve got you covered.

Our on-site kitchen is equipped for those who’d like to bring meals, and there are local eateries just a stroll away.
